Select Your Plan
Our goal is to provide useful and accessible insurance for every WSU student. We offer two plans with similar benefits but different enrollment eligibility guidelines.
Any student taking 7 or more credits at any WSU campus can choose to enroll in our comprehensive accident and illness plan. Plan may also cover spouses, dependents and domestic partners. Coverage is available worldwide. Please note enrollment and cancellation deadlines to the right.
All International students with non-immigrant status (except Canadians), who are enrolled for one credit or more, are automatically enrolled in this plan. However, international students may submit an equal or better alternative plan to receive a waiver. Please note submission deadline to the right.
International students and graduate students not on a summer assistantship - who begin their studies at WSU during the summer session - can enroll in this plan for coverage through the end of summer until they can enroll in this or the graduate student insurance plan during the regular enrollment period. (See guidelines and requirements on the GAP Enrollment Form.)
Graduate Student Assistant Medical & Dental Insurance Plan
Certain graduate students with assistantships are eligible to enroll in this enhanced plan. Enrollment usually occurs automatically when a graduate student is eligible. If you have already enrolled in the regular student insurance plan, your enrollment will automatically be corrected when you are appointed to an eligible assistantship. Please contact your department to determine eligibility.
Graduate students on a summer assistantship can enroll in this plan for coverage through the end of summer until they can enroll during the regular enrollment period. (See guidelines and requirements on the GSA GAP Enrollment Form.)
